650-1300mm Super Zoom

Everything you could ask for in a super zoom kit. I captured a great pic of the full moon shortly after purchase(just before Easter 2010). The lens is a bit heavy, but for the price it is worth it. Get a great tripod to take the weight and keep it steady for great pictures. This is not a lens you would use for "quick" photos. It does take a little time to adjust focus on a motionless object. I am an amature photographer and I've figured it out pretty quick, so I imagine just about anyone can get a quick understanding of this lens. Go out and have fun taking picures. You might be suprised like I was when I could see the craters on the moon so clearly in the pic I took. Enjoy!

As C. from WV said, the lens is heavy. I would not recommend using the lens with the shoulder mount, though. I do have to rate one star down due to the flimsiness of the shoulder brace, though it would probably work best with a lighter lens (unless you're the Incredible Hulk). Have some patience (and maybe a few layers if it's cold out), take good care of the lens, and it will reward you.
