This lens fit my Nikon D3100 with no problems. Nice quality, fast shipping. Gives a nice wide angle shot with only a very slight fisheye. Metal and glass, no plastic. Mine was a Vivitar-brand lens... a nice surprise. Only inaccuracy I noticed was that it's actually a .43 and not a .45 as listed. Otherwise, no complaints. I will order again.
