good service but the product quality is poor

I got the bower tele converter in 5 working days. That was really great. But I was trying to enhance the magnification to 600 with my tamron 70-300mm lense and upto 400 with my pentax DA 55-200mm lens and the quality dropped drastically. may be the converter is good upto 100-200 magnification.Asiri DissanayakeSri Lanka

It has a very nice cost/benefit ratio! Use for 2x my 70-300 zoom and take quality pictures from far away, loosing 1 or two steps. Ideal for outdoor situations.

Don't bother getting it

Junk! Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I bought two of them (my friend and I have identical Pentax K20D's). We both have experienced nothing but problems. I'm going to return them.If you're going to invest in a teleconverter, do the research first. I'm looking for a 7 blade made by Pentax. Very hard to find but it'll be worth it.
