0.42x Fisheye lens a no go...

I purchased this item last week, and anticipated its arrival. Received it today and couldn't wait to put it on my camera. So I checked it out first off, looked great. Attached it to my camera and when I looked through the view finder its looked cloudy as if I were sitting in a hot, steamy bathroom. I took it off and looked at it again and it was clear, so I called the company that sold it to me, and the guy new nothing about the lens, he had to ask a photographer that just happened to be sitting in the room with him. All they came up with is that my Sony lens (55-200mm) was to strong for this lens, and in order to use it and get the effect of a fisheye lens, I need to only use it while at 55mm. Which doesn't bother me, but I bought it for the fisheye effect, and all I get is a wide shot. No Fisheye, so I ask why call it a fisheye if it actually isn't. I will be sending this one back most definitely.

All in all a good product and amazing clarity for the value of money spent.Am not a professional though, but the results produced were amazing.On the macro part, the picture was little blured from a good distace. Then I reaslised, am close tho the subject & got to go back.Clarity on macro & fish eye is amazing. Am using Sony A330.
