Poor product

I currently own a Kodak Z812IS, and according to the description of the product, it should work with my camera. Wrong! I am pretty sure that I un-threaded my camera, which means that I cannot attach any other type of lens to my camera, when I was installing the lens; the adapter does not seem to fit my camera. 47th Street Photo has poor customer service, and return policy. TAKE CAUTION when purchasing this product as if you want to return it, you will need to pay a 15% restocking fee as well as the shipping to get it back to them.

Great lens

I just got my Opteka 0.2X fisheye lens today. I am into taking panorama pictures. This lens reduced the number of pictures to create a 360 degree panorama from 18 pictures in portrait mode to 8 and beats my 0.45X fisheye lens needing 12 pictures for the same panorama. It also covered enough vertical area to eliminate a second tier of 18 more pictures usually needed when using a standard 36mm lens. Needless to say, that reduces my stitching time dramatically. I see no difference in picture quality between the panoramas taken with the 0.45X fisheye than those taken with the Opteka 0.2X fisheye. I am not a pro and just having fun. This lens fits my needs to a "T" being great quality for a more than reasonable price.

Opteka HD² 0.20X

I purchased this lens to use with my Kodak Z1012 IS camera. The lens is easy to mount, requiring only the 52mm adapter tube. It works great as a wide angle lens, capturing a much wider field of view at the same "zoom setting" than the original lens alone. I've been able to create panorama pictures using the stitching feature of my camera that capture about a 100 degree sweep of the horizon. The picture quality has been very good.I've purchased through 47th street photo several times. The shipping has always been same day, and the packaging well done. I've called them once after the first order concerning an unusable adapter ring; the rep I talked to was courteous, helpful, and shipped a replacement ring immediately. The service I received and the quality of the product is why I've made repeat purchses from them.
