This Gorgeous, Professional qualilty Conversion Lens increases your Wide Angle capability by 0.43x simply by screwing directly onto the front of your existing lens. The Lens has a 58mm REAR thread and comes with a 52mm Adapter for attaching to the Nikon Nikkor 18-55mm lens (or any other lens with a 52mm or 58mm filter diameter).
PLEASE NOTE: Your existing lens MUST have a filter diameter of 52mm or 58mm in order for the Conversion Lens to mount (however, adapter rings are available).
Create an image from Wide to SUPER-Wide to FISH-EYE depending on the Focal Length of your Base Lens.
The .43x will work with Manual focus or AutoFocus lenses. The .43x lens front filter size is an Extraordinary 82mm -this large front end means that there will be much less "vignetting" (corner shadows) than with smaller, ordinary conversion lenses.
Lens is compatible with infrared and has MACRO focus capability.
MACRO MODE: Macro Mode is accomplished by unscrewing the front lens assembly and using only the section labeled MACRO with your existing lens.

Excellent Lense

I ordered the lense and expected it to take the 7-10 or so days to arrive and was pleasently surprised when it came in 4 days. It was shipped on time and arrived early. I have been taking several shots with it and it works great. No softness or dark around the edges. Just good clear pics. Excellent for wide close ups to. This is an excellent bargain.

Got my item really fast,even though it has taken me forever to review. Now that i have had it for a while i am pleased. I have been able to use it in as many situation as i can. I found out when i was in Monterey at the aquarium that when i used this item to take pictures of the fish in the aquariums they came out much better than the regular lense alone. Not the clearest pictures in other situations but it has served its purpose for me and i am very pleased for what i use it for. For the price you cant go wrong.Fun to experiment with and creat some odd pictures
