Interesting wide angle shots if needed

The lens is sharp in the center but loses its sharpness and focus in the outer third of the view. Similar to telescope eyepieces. Objects up close look sharper than objects farther away. Only good with no zoom. Zooming distorts and blurs the image. I am using a JVC HM550 HD video camera with a 37mm lens. I will keep this fish eye lens in my collection. This video starts with full zoom to show it's uselessness. Later, I took the lens off and on to compare. Shot at Lettuce Lake Park.
